Most personal suffering does not stem from what has already transpired, but from our resistance to accepting what has passed. The past cannot be recalled, remade, or argued with. Yet, by remaining in mental conflict with what has already occurred, we perpetuate pain far beyond the event itself. While emotional pain may be inevitable, prolonged suffering is always a choice
Living in peace does not mean having a life free of problems, but rather possessing the emotional strength to remain calm even when challenges scream in our ears. Peace is not found in external silence or in the absence of obstacles, but in inner strength and steadiness.
